The success of the 2012 Focus seems to have inspired the production of the new model 2019 Ford Focus. The yet to be released Ford Focus will be the fifth installment of the popular model. Considering that the current model has endured stiff competition from the likes of the Chevrolet Cruze, speculations are rife that Ford will give the 2019 model a redesign.
In this regard, fans of this car can expect a wider and longer body. Additionally, the new Ford Focus will have a slightly more spacious cabin than the current model. The 2019 Focus will join an ever-growing list of compact sedans that include the Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra and Mazda 3.

Furthermore, the four-door Ford focus will feature slimmer taillights and a slightly more sophisticated design than that of its predecessor. It will corporate two-slat grille and a sculpted body side. Overall, the exterior design of the new Focus is not drastically different from that of the current model.
Thanks to its wider and longer body, the 2019 Ford Focus will have more leg room, especially in the rear passenger seats. Nonetheless, the new Ford Focus is set to feature a SYNC 3 infotainment system. This system will be in the same position as it is in the Ford Fiesta. 2019 Ford Focus – Engine Options
The current Ford Focus comes with either a 2.0 Liter four-cylinder engine or a 2.3-liter turbocharged eco-boost engine. It is expected to come with the same engine options. Nevertheless, Ford might be toying with the idea of offering the Ford Focus with a small-displacement turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
This might come as a replacement to the 2.3-liter engine of the current model or an additional engine option. This engine option might come as Ford’s response to Chevrolet’s all-turbo Cruze model and the Honda Civic’s half-turbo line of engines. Also, the 2019 Focus will come with the same six-speed manual transmission of the current model. The transmission will have revised six-speed dual clutch automatic.
