The company with this new-gen 2018 Nissan GT-R will be looking to take the style of racing models to a whole new level. The Nissan fans were hopeful that a convertible SUV could also be on the cards after Nissan Juke and Murano Cross-Cabriolet. However, the automakers nullifying all such claims stated that no chances of such predicaments.
2018 Nissan GT-R – Innovative Features
Creative Chief of Nissan says this all-new 2018 Nissan GT-R may come with some frontal as well as rear elements from the Turismo.’ This is probably the closest hint given away.
The one of the biggest news of this new model is it still being a touch heavy. Moreover, what was even more surprising was the automaker saying–
‘The 2018 Nissan GT-R needs to be of this weight. A vehicle which is light weight does not handle well. It can prove dangerous for users and thus will reduce its mass appeal as not many would be able to control it.’
This was in response to the media who were emphasizing upon the fact that supercars lose weight over time. So, one can also expect a hefty curb weight for this new-gen ‘speed demon!’
This new-gen 2018 Nissan GT-R acquires silver and attractive V-motion mustache design in its frontal grille. The logo ‘GT-R’ will sit right in its center. Its hood will also see enhancements, and all this will add to its overall cooling ability and aerodynamic styling. The headlights will likely be sleek- if not (sleeker a tad) and will come with fresh DRL LED incorporations.
Its wheel fasteners may consist of lug nuts each having more than its previous M14x1.5 lug size. The dimension of this model along with its two new door makes this new model highly muscular.
As for its interior specifications, each of its seats will come with all stitched natural leather. The leather covering will also be seen its steering wheels. Though other details of its interior cabin are still under curtains, one thing is for sure- this new 2018 Nissan GT-R will host many safety specifications.

This engine will come with a 6-speed dual clutch gearbox. Moreover, this will again mate with pneumatic paddle shifters and a carbon clutch. The top speed is being around 191 mph and 2.9 seconds 0-60mph for the previous model, and we expect similar numbers to the new one.
Release Date and Price
Speculations hold this new-gen 2018 Nissan GT-R model will come out somewhere around the end of 2017 or by the 1st Q of 2018. As for its base price, there are no such declarations from the automakers till this point of time.
